(Nothing is Perfect)
In 2009, I was given a little drawing book for my birthday ... it's a spiral bound sketch book with a pretty cover. Not something I would buy for myself ... but a welcome gift none the less. I decided to fill it with little sketches and drawings as a stream of consciousness.
This is page 25 ... HB and 2B pencil ... about 7 cms by 14 cms ... 10 days.
This is the one that caused me to panic. You can probably tell that there is a gaping hole in the composition ... unfortunately the drawing went so badly that I erased an area and tried to fix it. This is no longer technically
a stream of consciousness ... it is a consciously rescued drawing and so this is a lesson to me that Nothing can ever be perfect ... hence it's title above.
