The Birthday Book Page 21 by SalHunter The Birthday Book Page 21 by SalHunter
(???)

In 2009, I was given a little drawing book for my birthday ... it's a spiral bound sketch book with a pretty cover. Not something I would buy for myself ... but a welcome gift none the less. I decided to fill it with little sketches and drawings as a stream of consciousness.

This is page 21 ... HB and 2B pencil ... about 7 cms by 14 cms ... 6 days. I have no idea what this is, it just splurged out ... suggestions welcome!

It looks like eyeballs without the pupil's in them, crammed together waiting to popped in and tried out.
But the edges of the eyeballs looks to soft like they almost don't exist.

Maybe they're different realities!!!

Either way I like it. :+fav:

Ha! That's definitely a good one, too. I saw it like one of those biology textbook pictures of single celled organisms, where you're given a little window into the insides. But way cooler than that. :P

they look like those pastries with stuffing, except this one looks like magical stuffing...or maybe eggs...kinda disturbing, but then again I, for some reason, circles kinda disturb me, even though I like the shape...idk why xD

A pencil drawing, that is both very soft and very detailed. These two things normally exclude each other... Your book turns upside down all I know of pencils

i love an organic mystery !
they look fungal , like those giant dinosaur egg puffball mushrooms that exhale smokey spore clouds in the rain . after they've released their spores , there is a hole at the top and you can see inside . the inside is dusty (sporey) and fibrous. they also resemble a colony of plant-like aquatic animals (barnacles , coral etc.)
the outside feels smooth, moist and rubbery like cooked calamari .

what i like best is that it's none of those things , but something like all of them .

Beautiful drawing my friend...when it was just a thumbnail I thought eyeballs....but now like little embryos....and this last suggestion may be because I haven't eaten yet and I am hungry but I am thinking sushi rolls....but wether it's sushi, embryos or eyeballs I still want to get some wasabi and ginger and eat it up :iconchompplz:
