Specimen-2 by SalHunter Specimen-2 by SalHunter
An ever growing series of doodles on laboratory filter paper ... this is 12.5cm diameter.

I am so busy right now that my drawing time has shrunk to an all time low... It is a struggle to find the time to draw even for a few hours ... I must get this under control and get a block of drawing time again.

this piece is wonderful; I love the different textures and the overall composition. And I feel like it's the first piece where instead of staring into the microcosm, I'm staring out of it into some sparsely populated vastness.

Good point my friend!

If we stayed, there would always be at the back of our minds the possibility that somehow we have missed something ... that we haven't quite made the most of what is in front of us ... and if we did escape, perhaps we would miss our old home and realise that we didn't fully appreciate it at the time ... such is life!
